Breakout (selfmade)

As I made my breakout game, I learned how to create sprites, objects and make them move with the buttons pressed on the keyboard. However, there were a few issues. One being the bat going through the wall. I quickly learned how to fix this. Another being, that when the player moves through the exit a message should appear telling them they have won. I have yet to figure out how to fix this and will be working on it. Lastly, there is no sound. This makes the game less exciting and boring for the player.

I have now added a menu with bright colours and instructions on how to play my game. The words are easy to read as the colours aren't too painful for the eyes. In my first paragraph I mentioned that there wasn't a message telling the player that they had won or lost. This has now been added into the game along with sound effects when the ball hits the bricks, the bat and the wall.
Also, every time the player breaks the bricks, a point is added, when the player loses, the points go down.
There was an issue, however, with the winning exit saying "You have lost!". This took a while to sort out and it sometimes switches back to saying "You have lost!". Another thing is that the game some times crashes with no reason. This has stopped significantly since I attempted to sort out the winning screen.
Now, after help the winning screen is fixed. The game will now also restart after winning or losing.

After looking at my old design, I found it to be boring and bland. I have added colour and made the background more exciting to keep the player from getting bored or sick of the game.
